Frederick Carl Lamprecht [Parents] 1 was born 2 on 7 Jun 1849 in Berlin Stadt, Brandenburg, Germany. He died 3, 4 on 25 Oct 1915 in Steamboat Rock, Hardin County, Iowa, USA. He was buried 5, 6, 7 in Steamboat Rock Cemetery, Clay Township, Section 27, Steamboat Rock, Hardin Co, Iowa, USA. Frederick married 8, 9 Hannah Marie Bonn on 17 Nov 1874 in Forreston, Ogle County, Illinois, USA.

Frederick worked 10 as shoemaker in 1900 in Ogle County, Illinois, USA.

Frederick Carl LAMPRECHT came to the USA from Germany before 1875.

Marriage license signed by P. J. de Neui, "Preacher of the gospel". This was Peter J. de Neui who is later found at First Baptist Church in Steamboat Rock, IA. There seems to be a close relationship between the de Neui and the Bonn families. Upon immigration to the USA, he was met in Forreston, IL on July 26, 1871 by a "Mr. Boun and son", I believe this to be Jan and Jacob Bonn. Peter de Nieu was married to Catharina Cramer and Jan Bonn's daughter married Henry H. Cramer and named her daughter Kathrina.

Looks like he is recorded as Charles Lambrecht in the 1880 census for Forreston, Ogle County, Illinois. His wife is Annie with children John and Sarah.

John and Jacob BONN appear as witnesses on his naturalization papers 28 Oct 1880.

A fire at the store of F. C. Lamprecht in Forreston, Il appeared in the Freeport Weekly Bulletin 03-11-1897, page 2 column 2. F. C. Lamprecht is described as a shoe merchant.

In the 1907 obituary of her mother Mrs. F. C. Lambprecht (sic) is noted as living in Steamboat Rock, Iowa. Steamboat Rock is a town of three or four hundred persons with a large EastFrisian (Low-German) flavor. Many of these Germans came via the Freeport/Baileyville/German Valley communities in Illinois and had family connections there.  Many were Baptists from Germany.  Many of the early families are related or from the same localities in Germany. (Russell Karsjens, 1999)

Likely died at the home of Mrs. H. H. Ailers, his daughter. He was there and "very ill" on the 21st of October according to the Eldora Herald.

Hannah Marie Bonn [Parents] was born 1 on 30 Oct 1854 in Leer, Ostfriesland, Germany. She died 2 on 24 Jan 1933 in Steamboat Rock, Hardin County, Iowa, USA. She was buried 3 in Steamboat Rock Cemetery, Steamboat Rock, Hardin County, Iowa, USA. Hannah married 4, 5 Frederick Carl Lamprecht 6 on 17 Nov 1874 in Forreston, Ogle County, Illinois, USA.

Hannah immigrated 7 on 7 Jun 1866 to Leer, Ostfrieseland, Germany from Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

Came to the USA in 1866 with her father Jan Eils Bonn and family.

Marriage Affidvit signed by Jacob BONN (her brother?) on 9 Nov 1874.

Living in Steamboat Rock, Iowa in 1907 according to her mother's obituary.

Found as head of household with daughter Julia in 1920; Eldora, Hardin County, Iowa census.

They had the following children.

M i John Lamprecht was born on 25 Nov 1875. He died on 31 Jan 1911 from Tuberculosis.

Marion Arthur Butler was born 1 on 21 May 1865 in Oregon, USA. He died 2 on 21 Dec 1929 in Seattle, King County, Washington, USA. Marion married 3 Gertrude Lucille Renouf 4 on 29 Jun 1912 in King County, Washington, USA. The marriage ended in divorce.

The address for Marion on his King County marriage certificate to Gertrude LAMPRECHT is 1853 Hasrvard (same as his death).

Marion Arthur BUTLER died 21 Dec 1929 per the WA digital archives. His wife is listed as "Anna B. Butler". Place of death was 1953 Hasrvard Ave. This Marion is found with Anna B. in the 1920 King County census. And in 1900 he is found in Baker City, Baker County, OR -- in this census his birth is May 1865, even the correct month. In 1900 his wife was Alice.

I presume that he and Gertrude divorced before 1920.
