DEC 27 - Meditation on our own....
DEC 20 - 10:15 - BRISTOL
PUBLIC LIBRARY - we came in out of the hustle and bustle of the season to devote an hour to the peace and quiet of
the library.
DEC 13 - "Cookies Cakes and
Cans" at Joan's house in Bayridge. Meditation began at 10:00 and coffee began at 10:30. Friends and regulars meditated
and brought canned goods for Church Community Services.
DEC 6 - We met at the Library to continue listening to the Andrew Harvey tape.
NOV 29 -
NOV 22 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING -
No formally scheduled meditation. We are on our own this week
NOV 15 - 10:15 - The Bristol Public Library - We will rediscover the
personal name of God from the original Kabbalah by listening to the CD by Greg Braden, “The Divine Name: Sounds of the
God Code”. This is a very powerful CD that many of us have found very meditative.
NOV 8 - We met at Nancy Boren's house. Dian Booth from Australia, was with us involving us in a sound and color spiritual healing experience. Dian
Booth is an Australian Master Soul Healer whose work is inspired and nourished by the land of her birth. Through the magical
pathways of Sound and Color, Dian opens doorways of inner knowledge and peace.

Nancy Morgan's friend from Texas, was with us. She showed the movie "The Secret" to our group.

23 - We had a meditation at Kathy Mow's home, by Kathy. As always, Kathy gave us such a meaningul
experience.
AUG 16 - We went to the Hermitage in Three Rivers for our meditation
AUG 9 -
We went St. Gregory's Abby in Three Rivers. We had a meditation followed by listening to the monks chanting
in the chapel.
AUG 2 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's Wing - Tulsi
led us in meditation.
JULY 26 -
JULY 19 - 2:00 pm - We met at Neil Gilbert's office in South Bend for a meditation.
JULY 12 - We met at the Bristol Public Library and Lynn Marie
Helvy led us in a meditation.
JULY - 5 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's Wing - Tulsi
led us in meditation. We did not do a Tai Chi exercise/meditation as it is felt buy the majority of us that having Tai
Chi only once a month is not as effective as having a weekly class. For those of you who wish to pursue Tai Chi, please check
out classes offered by Tulsi and others in the area.
JUNE 28 -
We went to Dr. Tom Petersen's office in South Bend for a Zazen meditation.
JUNE 21 - We met at the
Ruthmere Mansion in the beautiful surroundings for a peaceful meditation. Following the meditation some of
us took a tour of the mansion.
JUNE 14 - We met
at Marcia Griffen's home for a meditation.
JUNE 7 - We met at Elkhart
General Hospital in the new Women's Wing with Tulsi who led us in a
Tai Chi meditation. We decided to continue with meditation but drop the monthly Tai Chi.
MAY 24 -
MAY 17 - We
met at Mary Holtz's home. Rev. Dick Heiss was our guest and discussed Marcus Borg's book, "Emerging Paradigm---A
View of the Bible".
MAY 10 - Pirkko Miller was with us once
again for a drumming session at Mary's home.
MAY 3 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's Wing with Tulsi
who led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
APRIL 26 - Robert Walker was with us at Mary's house for a profound meditation.
APRIL
19 - We met at the Bristol Public Library for our own meditation.
APRIL 12 - We met
at the Bristol Public Library for a meditation on our own.
APRIL 5 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital
in the new Women's Wing - Tulsi led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
MARCH 29 -
We met at "Sips and Scones" on Old U.S. 20 for a meditation and lunch.
MARCH 22 - We met at "Sips
and Scones" on Old U.S. 20 for a meditation and lunch.
MARCH 15 - We met
at the Bristol Public Library for a meditation on our own.
MARCH 8 - We met at Nancy Boren's
home to set an intention for the home she is selling plus the intentions of all of the MMM group that attended.
MARCH 1 - We met with Tulsi and
Cameo Victor at the hospital. We usedTarot cards that were created by Cameo to aid in meditation to stir the subconscious
mind and to delve into thoughts and ideas and to deepen an understanding of the self.
FEBRUARY 22 - We met at the Bristol
Public Libary and played the cd Mary had brought entitled, "The Power of Intention" by Wayne Dyre, followed by a discussion.
FEBRUARY 15 - WE MET AT THE BRISTOL
PUBLIC LIBRARY AFTER ALL. THOUGH WE ARE FEW IN NUMBERS AT THIS TIME, OUR PRAYERS AND INTENTIONS ARE MIGHTY.
FEBRUARY 8 - 10:15 - We met at the Bristol
Public Library for a group meditation. Our planned speaker for the day, Mr. Robert Walker has rescheduled for April.
February 1 - We met at Elkhart
General Hospital in the new Women's Wing - Tulsi led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
January 25 - We met at
the Bristol Public Library for a group meditation.
January 18 - We met at the Bristol Public Library for a group meditation.
January 11 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's Wing and Tulsi
led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
December 14 - We met at Mary Holtz's home- Gretchen "Cricket"
Berry talked to us about the angels in our lives. Throughout history, angels have been God's messengers. Cricket
told us how we can connect with our angels. She just returned from Angel Therapy Practitioner Training and had lots to tell
us. She also helped us with the angel cards.
December 7 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new
Women's Wing - Tulsi led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
November 30 - We met at Sacred
Waters - Marj Bowles talked about
her trip to Tibet with Greg Braden which included private audiences with Tibetan Lamas, viewing
turquoise lakes nestled at nearly 18,000 ft above sea level and sitting among monks and nuns during their powerful prayers
and chants. Marj had wonderful pictures and many stories to tell.
November 23- No formal meditation. Happy Thanksgiving!
November 16 - 10:15 - Sacred Waters - We had a meditation
using the Chakra bowls.
November 9 - We met at Mary Holtz's home-
Mary played her tape by Deepak Chopra entitled, "The Quantum Healing Workshop" followed by a discussion and meditation.
November 2 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new
Women's Wing - Tulsi (Angel) led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
October 26 - Robert Walker from the Shambhala Meditation Group of Southwest
Michigan was once again with us. We will meet at Mary's home.
October 19 -We had a full moon celebration at Kathy
Mow's house in the country. Mark had a beautiful fire going for us outside in the moonlight. Pirrko
Miller led us in the celebrationwith drums and singing. We also celebrated our essence and our mothers and grandmothers.
It was a night to remember and we thank the Mow's for their most generous time and effort in our behalf.
October 12 - We met at Kathy Mow's house. Baba was
with us for a spiritual talk and a mediation. He was with us for two hours.
For those of you who are not familiar with
Baba, he is a beautiful and gifted holy man from India who stayed in the area for a week or so to do teachings and be with
his followers here, in Naperville and Kalamazoo. We hope to have him again.
October 5 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's
Wing - Tulsi (Angel) led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
September 28 - We walked the Labyrinth at St. Mary's in South
Bend.
September 21 -We met at Mary's house. Robert Walker,
the contact person from the Shambhala Meditation Group of Southwest Michigan, spoke to us about the meditation process and
then led us in a meditation.
September 7 - We met at Elkhart General Hospital in the new Women's
Wing - Tulsi (Angel) led us in a Tai Chi meditation.
A few things from Tulsi which we will follow each time we meet with
her...
- Plan to arrive
early to pay the $10 at the Women's Center (I will be looking for you and will direct you). Simply tell the secretary
you are in Tulsi's Tai Chi class
- Dress warm,
in that we may be outside to do our first class together
August 31- Dr. Ruth Judy did a collage meditation with us. Collage is a different way to do a journal process, reflecting on where we are now, personally and spiritually.
It's a delightful and easy way to capture our thoughts and express ourselves through pictures, to be creative without worrying
about our ability to draw. And it's a way for surprises about ourselves to burst through the subconscious into our consciousness.
We all shared some of our findings.
August 24 -We met at the Bristol Public Library -
Joan brought her tape by Deepak Chopra on Ancient Ayurveda Medicine. We had a discussiom followed
by a meditation.
August 17 - We met at the Bristol Public Library and were presented
with a talk and a pencil and paper exercise with Eduardo from the South Bend Dharma Center followed
by a short meditation.
August 10 - We met at Kathy Mow's home and Cricket gave us a presentation on Feng Shui
and showed us some of her general and spiritual art work. She has many gifts to share with us so we will have her visit again.
August 3 - We met at Ruth Yeoman's home on the lake.
Kathy Mow led us in a meditation that had been inspired by Baba in a session she had with
him several months ago. A wonderful lunch followed.
July 27 - We met with Teji (Ruth) Dilley at
the Bodywise Center for a continuing presentation on Ancient Ayurveda.
July 20 - Dr. Tom Petersen led us in a Zen meditation.
July 13 - Gilchrist was postponed until a later date.
July 6 - We met at Mary Holtz's home and the
Venerable Wu Ling was with us for a Dharma talk followed by a chanting meditation.
June 29 - We met at the Bodywise Center, County Road 1, Elkhart,
with Teji (Ruth) Dilley, who shared the ancient art and science of Ayurveda, one of the most remarkable
holistic medical systems in the world. It covers all aspects of health and well being. It includes all methods of healing
from diet, herbs, exercise and lifestyle regimens to yogic practic and meditation. Ayurveda contains the secrets for not only
for healing the individual but also for uplifting society all creatures and the planet itself.
June 22 - We met with Karen Sommers at the Leighton
Center in South Bend. She did a gentle Yoga session with us with a meditation.
June 15 - Hermitage in Three Rivers, MI - We had
a guided meditation with Naomi followed by a silent vegetarian lunch.
June 8 - Kathy Mow's home - The Venerable Wu Ling
was with us for continuing Buddhists studies. This session was on "intentions" as to why we do what we do.
June 1 - Bristol Public Library - We talked and did a meditation
on our own.
May 25 - We met at the BRISTOL PUBLIC LIBRARY
and listened to a children's meditation CD and discuss future MMM gatherings
May 23 - THIS EVENT WAS CANCELED. WE WILL PLAN THIS EVENT (FULL MOON CELEBRATION)
IN THE FALL.Details to be announce at a later date.
May 18 - Neil Gilbert's office at 914 Lincoln Way West,
in South Bend- Neil led us in a meditation.
May 11 -Joy Brenner's home -
Sri Sri Shuddhananda Brahmachari
(Baba) spoke at an afternoon satsung (gathering) at Joy's house. Several
guests from out of town came to embrace the experience.

to purchase.
May 4 - Bristol Public Library
- Angel was not able to be with us so we did a meditation on our own.
April 27 - The trip to Leighton Center with Karen Sommers was postponed
until later. We met at the Bristol Public Library and talked followed by a meditation led by a CD by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
April 20 -We met at Kathy Mow's house where she and
Ruth Judy did a program on Archetypes followed by a meditation
April 13 - Rose led us in a meditation following a program on
"Spring Cleaning the Body and Mind" followed by a vegetarian salad lunch.
April 6 - Angel led us in a discussion following a meditation.
March 30 - The
Venerable Wu Ling was with us for an informal discussion on Buddhism followed by a walking meditation.
From this discussion, we have formed a separate group devoted to the study of Buddhism held on Mondays.
March 23 - We met at the Bristol Public Library and Jenny
Bartlett led us in a beautiful Yoga meditation
March 16 - We did a Zen Meditation on our own.
March 9 - Lynn Marie so gracefully accepted a last minute invitation to teach us about Reflexology and
to lead us in a meditation.
March 2 - Angel led us in a quiet sitting meditation followed
by a Tai Chi meditation. Angel scheduled personal time with some of us, and she is available in Elkhart two days a month
for our personal time with her.
February 23 - Kathy Mow led us in a meditation and prayer
February 16 - We met at the BPL for a meditation.
February 9 - We met at Kathy Mow's house. Kathy and
Rosa Stone explained the Kabalah and its significance to spirituality. A lovely lunch followed.
February 2 - We met at the Bristol Public Library - Angel
led us in a quiet sitting meditation followed by a Tai Chi meditation. Angel scheduled personal time with some of us, and
she will now be available in Elkhart two days a month for our personal time with her.
Jan. 26 - We met at the Bristol Public Library for a Zazen Meditation
together.
Jan. 19 - We went Tom Petersen's office for a
Zen meditation and to hear about his recent trip to Japan.
Jan. 12 - Kathy Mow led us in a meditation

Dec. 22 - Canceled... Happy Holidays
Dec. 15 - Lois Dusthimer gave us a most interesting presentation on
Medjorje, the site where the Virgin Mary continues to appear to two of the original six children.

Dec. 1 - Angel led us in the continuing Tai Chi meditation.
Nov. 24 -We Met at Java Jungle - to chat and say "Happy Thanksgiving".
We wanted to touch base and get group energy.
Nov. 17 - Joy's house - Pirkko Miller was with us for another drumming
meditation session. We also did a release ceremony. Joy made a pot of soup, bread and mulled cider.
Nov. 10 - Mary Holtz's House- We shared our thoughts and ideas
with the group then did a meditation.
Nov. 3 - Angel led us in the continuing Tai Chi meditation.
Oct. 27 - Jeff, from Sacred Waters, led us in a Chakra Bowl
Meditation.
Oct.20 - Ruth Dilley's Studio, Bodywise Center. We spent an hour with
Ruth in a Yoga meditation which included stretches and quiet time with deep breathing.
Oct. 13 - Neil Gilbert led us in a healing meditation at his office
in South Bend.
Oct. 6 - Angel led us in the continuing Tai Chi meditation.
Sept. 28 - Janie Neill, Nancy M.'s friend from Texas, talked with us about
the "Course in Miracles" and led us in a meditation. THIS WAS NOT A REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING, but a gift to all of us.
Sept. 22 - Pirkko Miller was with us at Kathy's house for
another drumming meditation session. Lunch followed and we all brought a dish to share.
Sept. 15 - Kathy led us in a Zen Meditation at the
library. The Mental Health Coffee was held on this same day and many of us wanted to attend this fund raiser so
we ended early.
Sept. 8 - Angel led us in the continuing Tai Chi meditation. Everyone
seemed to feel more comfortable this time with the postures. If you were not there for the first session you were not
left behind.
Sept. 1 - We meditated on our own.
Aug. 25 - We met at the Bristol Public Library then went
to Rose's house for a very short walking meditation as we got caught in the rain.
Aug. 18 - Orva Schrock led us in a chanting meditation at the
Bristol Public Library.
Aug. 11 - Dr. Dwight Judy of the Oakwood Spiritual Center in Syracuse
led us in a collage meditation followed by a delightful lunchon in the dining room on the campus.
August 4 - Angel Visintine met with us at Sacred Waters for a meditation
and to experience Tai Chi exercises.
2003 Special Guest and website reference
On August 6, 2003, we had the pleasure of welcoming
Pirkko Miller as our guest. She introduced us to Shamanism, common spiritual practices of our ancestors in Northern Europe,
North America and Siberia. We decided that she would be come one of our "regulars" for MMM. For more information on Shamanism
