Mid Morning Meditators

REFLECTIONS AND READINGS

WHAT TO DO WITH OUR CLAY PROJECT

There were 10 of us who experienced the clay meditation on Wednesday, August 13, 2003, with Sister Marianne, and it was delightful. Now that we have our projects, we need to let them dry for two weeks before we do anything else. After two weeks, we can hang them by a string (if there is s hole in the top) or use a hook and super glue on the back. If we fire the pieces, it needs to be 0-6 to 0-5 for the firing. Kathy has a friend who will be able to fire our pieces for us if the piece is not too thick. I hope to have more information on this the next time we meet.

THOUGHTS AND REFLECTIONS:

After much discussion at several of our Wednesday morning meditations, we decided that we wanted to have more time for just the group for discussion, readings and our own meditation led by a group. We decided that we would try to have a format for the month that would give us more time together. We would have the first Wednesday of the month with a repeat presenter, the second and third weeks with just the group, and the fourth and fifth (if there is one in the month) with a new person as a presenter. We will try this and reevaluate the plan to see if we want to make another change.
