These were made for fiends at work and my children and grandchildren. The Oak are one piece turned on spindle as I did not have a chuck at the time they were made last year. Finished with wipe on poly u.

 

The Oak are 1.5 in x 2.5 tall

The Jack Pine are 1.5 in wide by 1.75 in high.

The clappers you cannot see but were made from walnut and maple.

The pine do not sand very well as were still fairly full of pitch at the time ( tree in back yard) sooo and i was just learning to turn wood instead of metals.
