History
Poshabilities in the 1920's

popular, could have someone been daring enough to throw an asymmetrical
angle into the regular bob style?
The shingle bob
was a very short bob from the 1920's. It could be considered an early
forerunner to the Posh Bob. It is not hard to imagine that someone
would have tried to angle the sides to form an asymmetrical bob.
Bessie Hyde who disappeared while attempting to run the Colorado River rapids in 1928 with an asymmetrical Bob.
On the "Secret Life of Geisha" there is a scene that shows a woman is walking down the street in the 1920's with short hair that looks a lot like a Posh Bob.

Could a Posh Bob
have been invented in the early 90's after the trend away from big 80's
hair?

out more history on this. If there are any stylists out there that
created Posh Bobs before Kristina Lenko and Victoria Beckham we would
love to hear from you.
