"Unfinished dance track #2"
artists: Seth Hayden, Jason Naiden, Thad Taylor

A dance tune that just cooked people live. True story: we played the Fremont Fair one nice day in June, 2006. I noticed a balding middle-aged guy walking by, and he stopped, and kind of checked us out, nonchalantly. Later, as we were about a minute into this song, I looked down and saw him now in front of the stage, buried in the crowd, shirt off, jumping up and down. Ah yes . . .

This is my brass Yamaha piccolo snare and Recording Custom bass drum. The disco hi-hat feel is one of my favorite things to play . . . left to my own devices I might have played it on every song!

"Solo piece - fall 2006"

This is kind of a crazy reggae type groove. Just me playing at home. I have an old Sony WD6 tape recorder and a stereo mic, and SoundForge. This groove is inspired by a certain song. Can you tell me what it is?

"Life In the Aftermath" (first clip)
"God Gack" (second clip, below)
artist: Brady Edmonds
words and music by Brady Edmonds
CD: Sandwich Sessions (2002)

This was a fun alternative rock type project. Brady played all instruments except drums. I came up with some very crisp, creative rock drumming here, if I don't say so myself.

"Express Yourself"
artist: the Reyshard group
taken from my live field recording at SoulFest, July 2006, Franklin High School, Seattle

By this time I could actually play groove oriented music without ruining it - occasionally.
