Berkeley County WV ARES equipment capabilities:
 
HF (100 Wt) SSB from EOC.
2M FM from EOC
2M packet (on 145.690 DAREN system) at EOC
      This includes node and small mailbox.
2M packet (on 145.690 DAREN system) high
       level node mailbox maintained by W8CMK
       as the main DAREN node in/out of county.
     **Note:  This node (BERKWV) IS BACK OPERATIONAL!!!
2M packet or FM voice capability from City Hospital (not 24/7 operation but as needed).

The station call at the EOC is KD8ALZ.  This is used for all amateur transmitters at the site (except those operated as personal stations).

Remember to check in to your local ARES or RACES nets. Be a known participant before disaster strikes!
