Hellsing OVA 6 is scheduled to release in Japan on July 24, 2009.

Hellsing OVA 5 Delayed
Well, the October 24 release date has been canceled. The official Hellsing OVA website now reports that OVA 5 will be released sometime this November.

Hellsing Vol. 5 release date announced!
Both CDJapan and Yesasia have put Hellsing OVA 5 in their preorder listings--they report the release date as October 24, 2008! As always, this relase date applies to Japan only.

Geneon Japan Announces OVA 4 Release Date!
Hellsing OVA 4 has a new official release date--February 22, 2008.
This date was seen first on CDJapan, but is now confirmed by the Official Hellsing OVA website.

Geneon USA Cancelling Sales, Distribution
 The onetime anime distribution company Geneon Entertainment (USA) Inc. has notified its retail customers that it will cease "the sales of DVDs and all related distribution and marketing operations as of 5 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2007."

New Hellsing OVA 3 Release Date Confirmed! The Japanese Hellsing Website has confirmed the April 4 release date. In addition, the Japanese Hellsing Website has animation scenes from the upcoming OVA 3. The characters in these scenes are speaking through comic-style word balloons. 

Those who read Japanese know the joke already--but if you don't, Xaphirest and his friend Aurian have provided a translation.

An April 4, 2007 release date for OVA 3 is posted on the sites CDJapan and Amazon.co.jp. However, there is still no update or trailer at the official Hellsing OVA website.

The release date for OVA 3 has been pushed back. Geneon reports that though the episode itself is finished, the Anderson figurine it ships with is not ready. Geneon has not given a new release date yet.

Geneon has constructed a multiple-page Hellsing OVA website! The new site features screenshots, full-color print ads, the official trailer, Hellsing icons, and information about the story and production of the series.

Geneon has put up a splash page advertising the Hellsing OVA (here referred to as 'Hellsing Ultimate'). The page contains an embedded 3-minute trailer for the English-language dub of Hellsing OVA 1. Listen to the English-language voice cast!

Hellsing OVA 2 is released in Japan. The episode is 43 minutes long, and covers the Valentine Brothers' invasion of Hellsing Headquarters.

Two Helling OVA previews were shown at Otakon, an anime convention held in Baltimore, Maryland. The first preview showed footage from OVA 2; the second featured the OVA 1 English dub.
Originally only one preview was scheduled. The second showing was added to accomodate the several hundred attendees.

The Hellsing OVA Website posts a new trailer for Episode 2. It features clips from the battle between Alucard and Luke Valentine, and a glimpse of Alucard's monstrous transformation.  It is 1:14 in length.

Geneon has chosen their cast for the OVA English dub. They are bringing back the voice actors from the original Hellsing TV series, including Crispin Freeman as the voice of Alucard. This is welcome news for many fans, some of whom consider the Hellsing TV series dub to be one of the finest in anime.

A second OVA 2 mini-trailer is aired on Japanese television. This trailer shows footage of the Valentine Brothers' army of ghouls, as well as a look at an angry, 'super-deformed' style Seras. It has a more humorous tone than the first mini-trailer.

The first OVA 2 mini-trailer is aired on Japanese television. It features the Valentine Brothers' invasion of Hellsing Headquarters and shows clips of both Luke and Jan Valentine. It is 14 seconds in length.

Geneon's Hellsing OVA website releases a 30-second trailer for the Hellsing OVA series. It showcases the new OVA animation and music and exhibits designs and concepts for the entire series to come. Geneon also released a longer (5:24) version of this trailer on a promotional DVD.

Geneon announces that they will be working on a new Hellsing OVA series, closely based on the Hellsing manga. The number of episodes planned is unknown. The announcement was made at the MIPTV Tradeshow (an international audiovisual and digital content tradeshow) held in Cannes, France.
