The knife above is a blade that I fixed up which wasnt quite the way I wanted it at first. the overall length
is 9 1/8" with a 3 3/4" handle. The thumbrest on top is really handy, I might add some non slip notches. This blade will hold
an edge for a long time. it rockwells out at 65c and comes with a sheath. You can see the hamon line in the lower picture
pretty well. it has a happy home now.
This is a blade that i made for a friend which is the replacement for the very top knife that I had
made for him since that one didnt turn out the way I wanted. He wanted antler for the handle but since there
wasnt anything that would work or look right he decided on the neoprene which he likes very well. He used it to skin a few
hogs and a cow. I had to enlarge the guthook a little more so a hog or cow would be easier to gut. When
he gets some antler that will work, he is going to have me make another knife for him.
