HERE ARE A FEW MYTHS ABOUT THE PAPER WHEELS

MYTHS ABOUT THE PAPER WHEELS
I have read posts made by morons (they know who they are) who know nothing about the paper wheels stating they will do all kinds of bad things to your knives. These guys are usually too dumb to even operate an electric motor let alone sharpen with the wheels. They say the wheels will heat up the edge and ruin the heat treat which they wont. you would have to hold the blade stationary on the abrasive wheel in order to generate enough heat which would be the operators fault.
All it takes is a little bit of common sense and decent hand eye coordination. The wheels produce the same edge as if you use a stone. You might think because its a wheel that the edge will be concave but its such a small surface area touching an already narrow surface its hard to tell even with a magnafying lense.
For over 18 years I have used the wheels to sharpen knives and when used properly you can get the sharpest edge (depending on the steel and its ability to take a good edge) your knife is capable of taking.
Dont expect a cheap pakistani stainless steel piece of junk you bought for $2. to slice newspaper like a good tool steel blade, its not going to happen.

THE NUMBER OF NAYSAYERS IS FAR AND FEW BETWEEN COMPARED TO THE MANY SATISFIED USERS. THE PROOF IS IN MY VIDS AND IN THE SATISFIED USER POSTS ON THE FORUMS.
