History & Relationships: |
Parnyx is the pantheon's resident playboy and
partier. He is forever trying to coerce and seduce the various
female deities into his bed. His only real failures in this have
been Elvaara and Iridala. They simply refuse to get caught up in
his charms. Parnyx will often visit Ghoraja Juun and seduce
mortals.
Because of his general attitude many other deities underestimate
Parnyx, despite his pretense to always having 'a good time,' during
the Gods Fall Wars he showed that he can be a dangerous foe. He
defeated several other entities that were stronger than he and
subsumed their powers and portfolios.
Parnyx has few enemies among the other deities. Long ago he
hatched a scheme to wrest away the Bard portfolio from Beroth but
was ultimately thwarted by the Learned One. This has caused a
tangible tension between the two, though it has never gotten
hostile. Slowly over time Beroth has begun to soften her stance
toward the Songstar. He is on very good terms with Sylistra and
the two are frequent lovers. |
