Preseason Report

The SIPA teams held a preseason scrimmage recently
to test the new format and see what they are up against this upcoming season.
First up was Evil Intent Kids taking on Southern
Illinois Bad Medicine and defense ruled this encounter. The two teams battled for 11 minutes with the defense stopping the
offense every posession.
Next up for a quick 2 possession match was Harrisburg
Hitmen taking on Marion Onslaught. Each team was on offense once and neither scored.
The day ended with the Harrisburg Hitmen against
Carterville Evil Intent. This match went back and forth with the defense winning all of the time except for one. The Hitmen
score the first ever point in SIPA history in the last possession of the day.
Looks like the competition is very close and the
matches were all very intense. The defenses are up on the offenses so look for opening day to have the teams trying to get
their offenses on track. Opening day is scheduled for September 16th with two matches that day.
The SIPA, we deliver excitement!!!!
