Ami Karnosh is a Certified Nutritionist, natural foods cooking instructor, founder of Yummy Mummy Cookies,
and a mom. With a background in environmental science, Ami received her masters degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University
in 2005 and opened a private counseling practice soon thereafter.
Since then she has taught natual foods cooking classes for everyone from First
Foods for Baby to Cooking Camps for Teens as well as helping people to prevent
illness and live healthfully with diabetes and cancer.
Shortly after the birth of her daughter in 2008, Ami founded the Yummy Mummy Baking Company,
making nourishing cookies for moms to support healthful breastfeeding. She is the author of Let's Eat: A Book
About Food and an avid believer in eating well to live well.
Ami has a passion for good food and helping others to optimize their health through nutrition. Ami’s
specialties include Maternal and Infant Nutrition including fertility, lactation, prenatal and postnatal nutritional care.
