This site  The Web

Spent a fair amount of time trying to come up with something that would quickly get a viewer's interest - or lack of. Nothing cute or cryptic - I want to be up front and not waste anyone's time. The opening photo sets the theme of the site - a few of my projects as an amateur, self-taught woodcrafter.

The Bracket Clock was made as a gift for my sister.
The wood is 25 year old, air-dried walnut; a gift from a friend. Finish is Minwax walnut stain and three coats of wiped-on polyurethane.

Clock movement  is a single chime (Westminister) that plays on the quarter hour and counts on the hour. Added feature: it can be silenced from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM and volume is adjustible. Movement and hardware from Turncraft Clocks.

What's New?
At this time, since this is the initial publication of the Web site, everything. In the future, I will note any additions or changes to save you from scanning thru old stuff if you are a repeat visitor.

As of 12/26/2007, three photos have been added to the page, For the Young. Early works, I had to dig up the photos taken with a FILM camera. The 4 x 6 prints were scanned and edited in Adobe's Photoshop Elements. They are the table and chairs set and the desk and chair.
