Ron spearheaded the effort to develop the Madison Wellness Trail. He is a member and former president of the Madison
Rotary Club. Also, he is a former president and active member of the Boone County Chapter of WVU Alumni and Fiends. In
addition, he has served as chair of the Boone County United Way for the past three years.
Dr. Stollings serves as chairman of the Corridor G Regional Economic Development Authority. As chairman he
led the effort to develop a five-year strategic economic development plan for Boone, Lincoln, Logan and Mingo counties. Also,
he is Chair of the Higher Education Subcommittee of the Intellectual Infrastructure Committee of the statewide West
Virginia: A Vision Shared effort.
