My Heart

I went into Dolan's

I knew that I wanted to be part of it

I want to be fit

On that day Dolan looked at me

And said, "Do you want to be in this program?"

Chorus:

My everything

It beats every time

When it beats

I stand up

It's my heart

I was running

Dolan looked at me

And said, "push it, run"

I was running

Until I couldn't run

I knew that I could run

It's like a dream that's pushing me

The wind, the sun, the trees, my heart

Chorus:

My everything

It beats every time

When it beats

I stand up

It's my heart

It's hot outside

I knew that I was sweaty

Mom saw, Tom saw

I was running very hard

Chorus:

My everything

It beats every time

When it beats

I stand up

It's my heart

It was my dream

I need my dream, Lord

I'm looking at the sun

I am loving this

Chorus:

My everything

It beats every time

When it beats

I stand up

It's my heart

Flying Horse

secretariat.JPG

Lucky the horse who is the horse
With flying wings. He's become
Glorious; hair abloom
Finds tracks in the stars.

Yellow

It is yellow

Where the sunshine goes.

The eye is looking out

In the east and west.

It sees full grown

wheat and corn.

Every Summer

Every Summer

I'll miss the days on the farm,

Helping put the cows in,

Chopping wood, hauling cows

To get them fed.

I'll never forget these days,

Because it's my dream

To keep.

Chorus:

Every Summer I hauled hay,

And fed the cattle every day.

And it's every Summer.

When I am 17 years old,

And it's in the future,

I'll ponder every age

That I've been through,

And I'll miss the early days.

Chorus:

Every Summer I hauled hay,

And fed the cattle every day.

And it's every Summer.

Rodeo

Cheaters never want to lose,

Bullies have got their thing.

I'd like to invite them all

And yell, "Hey, it's rodeo time!"

Chorus:

And then I'll yell a second time

"You can't cheat the rodeo!

Broncs and bulls have got their thing,

You can't cheat the rodeo!"

The horns are out to get you,

The bucking broncs will throw you.

Watch out cheaters and bullies!

Watch out, it's rodeo!

Chorus

And then I'll yell a second time,

"You can't cheat the rodeo!

Broncs and bulls have got their thing,

You can't cheat the rodeo!"

That's Your Change

The little boy wants

To go fishing.

He said, "Daddy, please go with me."

And he wanted to go so badly.

Daddy just threw him a nickel

And said, "Too busy today,"

Chorus:

That's your second warning,

That's not a good thing. And

Sometimes when a nickel goes down,

That's your change.

As years go by

The little boy's no longer little.

And Daddy knows fishing is worth more

Than a nickel.

And Daddy wants to go fishing so bad,

But the big little boy is too busy today.

Chorus:

That's your second warning,

That's not a good thing. And

Sometimes when a nickel goes down,

That's your change.

Talking Dogs

Tuf is a talking dog.

I know he is not really a talking dog

Like some we see on TV.

But he knows that he's

A good dog and a best friend.

And I bet he misses us forever.

Chorus:

Talking animals and talking dogs

Are just pretend on TV.

Real dogs and animals

Use emotional feelings

When they speak.

Tuf and I have got best memories

And I know that I miss him.

We have a friendship

And Tuf knows that I miss him.

Chorus:

Talking animals and talking dogs

Are just pretend on TV.

Real dogs and animals

Use emotional feelings

When they speak.

Flowers Abloom

Flowers abloom,
More than Flowers
Where sun shines.
Right into a flower,
Left into a garden.
More flowers
In the garden.
More gardens,
More flowers.

Colors of a Ballad

There's a plane waiting and

A soldier salutes a captain,

And then he leaves to go back

To the Navy Seals.

He's thinking,

"I'm gonna be a ballad someday."

Chorus:

Colors of a ballad are

In every single moment

In one day of a child's father

When he's serving as a soldier.

Then he says, "I hope my child is fine."

And he wonders what they are doing.

He misses them.

His parents miss him

And his family wants him back.

Chorus:

Colors of a ballad are

In every single moment

In the day of a child's father

When he's serving as a soldier

Someday

All summer happy days,

That we have been so happy.

I always thought someday we might

Go to Six Flags and see all

The rides.

It was rainy and we got there

Very fast.

We rode the Batman ride;

Then we saw the sky.

Chorus:

Maybe someday we might

Go there--

It's like a dream there;

I loved it very much.

Tater was excited, and

She didn't want to stop.

It was me and Jax and Tater

Around and round and round.

Then we went to eat

But couldn't eat; and rain

Was everywhere.

I talked to my brother...

And everything else...

What a great day.

Chorus:

Maybe someday we might

Go there--

It's like a dream there;

I loved it very much.

Willow Creek Mountains

Play a fiddle guitar

Singin "Loud and Proud".

Up in those trees and mountains,

You know who they are...Willow Creek.

Chorus:

Fiddle, fiddle in Willow Creek,

Singin in under the trees.

Play in a fiddle song.

I've known the plants since

They were young.

I sit on the rocks and enjoy

Singin in the mountains of Willow Creek.

Chorus:

Fiddle, fiddle in Willow Creek,

Singin in under the trees.

Play in a fiddle song.

Those fish are in the water,

They have a chance to stay.

If I were a fish I think I'd stay

In WIllow Creek Mountains forever.

Chorus:

Fiddle, fiddle in Willow Creek,

Singin in under the trees,

Play in a fiddle song.

That Day

When I was  13 years old

I couldn't even sleep, and my brother

Said, "It's okay;  I'll be here with you."

He's a good brother to me,

And I know I won't forget this day

With my brother.

He's like a part of me,

I was happy that he was protecting me.

Chorus:

That day I thought, "I am

Going to be like him."

This was my favorite day.

A day to be with him.

I won't forget about that day.

That night, he slept with me.

I was so happy that he stayed with me.

He thinks that I'm a good brother to him.

I'll be sure that he knows that

I'm going to be alright.

Chorus:

That day I thought, "I am

Going to be like him."

This was my favorite day.

A day to be with him.

I won't forget about that day.
