I thought it would be wonderful to hear of others who have converted to the Catholic Church.  We all have a story to tell and they are usually very wonderful and moving stories.  Here are some of those stories.  If you have a conversion story you would like to share please email it to me using the information below.

My name is Grace Agnes and I was born to a Methodist Preacher in the Mississippi Delta. I was given all the love and kindness that any child could ever dream of. I was baptized and raised in the Christian faith. As a small child we frequently had guests in our home that were very interesting and the theological discussions were far from boring. My best friend was a Catholic and I was allowed to go with her to Catechism and Mass. My Mother had a PHD in history and was a writer and traveled all over Europe to study Cathedrals. She was also a professor and taught at a nearby college. Once she brought me a brass rubbing from the tomb of a monk. She gave me stacks and stacks of books on cathedrals and I later developed a love of stained glass windows and began to build windows myself as a hobby. My Mother died in 1979. I married my High School Sweetheart a Methodist, and raised and college educated three beautiful children. Two of my children married Catholics and began to raise their children in the Catholic Church. In 1998 tragedy struck, we lost a Grandbaby "Phillip Ross" that was born with a tumor on his liver. The Catholic Church was a comfort to us and they sent up so many prayers for the family. My husband and I went to the Catholic Church off and on for special occasions and loved it so much. In 2000 my husband of 28 years died of pancreatic cancer. My world came crashing down around me. I never thought I would ever re-marry I hadn't planned on it, but God sent a man into my life. He was a Catholic and a very wonderful man. In 2003 I re-married and chose to make his church my church. The rest is history. I love the Catholic Church and I have never known such a fullness of faith. As the world changes one thing remains the same The Catholic Church.
These days I am busy making rosaries and I enjoy praying the rosary each day. We belong to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. I especially love going to Mass on Wednesday night, attending Bible study, and Mass on Sunday morning. Our lives are centered around the church and there is such a peace and harmony that can only come from knowing Jesus Christ.
