Faith and belief comprise a very important part of our lives. A person's beliefs, in many ways, define who they
are, how they see themselves, what they want out of life, and more. I love to say, "Catholic is not WHAT
I am, it is WHO I am!"
On this web site I'll offer a personal account of my own journey to the Catholic Church
and the peace that I have found, even in the midst of the crosses of this life, since truly receiving my Lord in
His Church. I believe that we are allowed crossed, and given the grace to get through them, in order to be
the Hands and the Heart of Jesus in the hope of bringing Him to others. My prayer for this website is for lives to be
changed and hearts softened in the same way as mine has been. We only need to be open to the promptings of the Holy
Spirit and follow the Will of God and He will lead us all to ALL Truth. My journey is not over and it will
not be until I leave this world and stand face to face with my Lord, but there is one thing I repeat often that helps me keep
my eyes on the Path ahead ... "Jesus, for Thee I live, Jesus for Thee I die... Jesus I am Thine in life and in
death. AMEN!"
If there is anyone who thinks they found this site "by accident" - I believe there are no accidents in life, only little
"nudges" from God to guide us where He wants us.
On the navigation bar to the left there are many different topics pertaining to the Catholic Church, take some time to
look through them. There is also a link called "My Local Church". On this page there is information about
the Diocese of Wheeling/Charleston, of which I am a member and my local parish church, Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral. There are links
to some of my favorite sites which help me grow as a commited Catholic Christian, as well as information and organizations
that help strengthen, explain, or support my faith in the Catholic Church.
Please take the time to look at the
links I have posted and you will learn the TRUTH of what the Catholic Church teaches and NOT what someone THINKS the Catholic
Church teaches.
