Bush, half way through his presidency in 2004, it was 12.7%
Under Clinton in 1996 he allotted a whopping $191 billion for poverty entitlements. Which is 12.2 %
of the budget; this is why Clinton is called the first black president.
For the 2006
budget, Bush has allotted $368 billion to poverty entitlements! 14.6 % of the
budget.
Yet people
will still keep yelling out how President Bush isn’t fair to the poor.
Americans
provide the poor with Medicaid, food stamps, welfare, day care, supplemental security income (free money) , child nutrition
programs, temporary assistance to needy families, foster cared, adoption assistance, and health insurance for children.
Black home
ownership is up 2% under Pres. Bush.
Under Clinton the tax rate climbed higher than at any time in history except WWII.
President
Bush cut taxes for everyone and federal tax revenue will be more this year than at any time during Clinton’s time.
