Abraham H., Capt. of Greenbush, N. Y., b. there July 29, 1746; m. Mary Coon, b. Feb. 11, 1766; d. there Oct. 2, 1832. Her sister, Christianna Coon, m. James Harrington, probably cousin of Abraham. His father sold to him Apr. 15, 1800 the farm of his home, and which farm had been purchased from Stephen Van Rensselaer. His brother, David, was witness to deed. He was head of family with 8 children in 1790 by Fed. Census. He sold land there to his son, Abraham, on Aug. 25, 1843. He served as private in Rev. War in Capt. Magee's Co. and Graham's Reg. He served one enlistment for himself, and one as substitute for his brother, Benjamin. He applied for pension in 1832 (pension Papers No. S-28754). In his will dated Sept. 28, 1839 and filed Dec. 14, 1846 he made bequests to all his children.

My son, Phinehas Herinton was born January ye 29 day, A. D. 1769 on Sunday about 2 o'clock in the morning; deceased March the 24th day, 27 years, one month, 24 days and 12 hours old.

March ye 18, A. D. 1770 my son, Jesse Herinton born between 10 and 11 at night on Sunday. Departed this life Mch. 30, 1760 (sic obviously 1860) between the hours of five six o'clock in the afternoon, aged 90 years and 12 days.

February ye 8, 1772 my daughter Keziah Herinton was born between 4 and 5 o'clock on Saturday morning. June 5, 1793 my daughter deceased this life about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. 21 years, 3 months, 27 days, 9 hours.

December ye 9, 1775 my son Abel Herinton was born between 11 and 12 o'clock in the morning. On Monday, Aug. 9, 1814 my son Abel deceased this life about 2 in the morning.
