In 1930 he was advanced from field worker to Curator of South West Museum of the University of California. He had then been with the South West Museum for about a year and a half.

His wife, Edna L. Parker, was a direct descendant of the famous Iroquois Indian prophet, Handsome Lake, and Gen. Eli Parker, full blooded Seneca Indian of Gen. Grant's staff.

He was a private in Lexington Company of John Parker from May 6, to May 10, 1775. Was paid money out of the U.S. Treasury for damage by others for losses at battle of Lexington and Bunker Hill.

Caleb, b. Arlington, Oct. 27, 1751; d. there Apr. 19, 1775 at 1st fire of the British at the Battle of Lexington, as he was leaving the meeting house. He was one of the 11 Harringtons who fought in this battle. For complete list see Thadeus, who married Thankful Dodge. He married Submit, b. 1757. and d. in Waltham, Mass., Aug. 17, 1849.
